Allen Spraggett was a CBC television show host and a columnist. He was interested in the study of the paranormal and other psychic phenomena. In February, 1979 he was caught up in Winnipeg’s “juvenile sex-for-cash” scandal. In 1980 he was found not guilty of two charges of gross indecency.
