Boniface Grosveld

Reverend Grosveld was a priest of the Congregation of the Beloved Disciple, Old Catholic. On Feb. 26, 1972 he married Michel Girouard and Réjean Tremblay in a downtown Montreal discotheque. The couple signed business partnership and personal union contracts, and it was the first widely-publicized gay marriage ceremony in Canada.
