Brian Latocki was a gay man who was murdered in his home at the age of twenty-four, on Jan. 22, 1977. Two similar murders had occurred in Toronto in as many years, leading police to believe that there was a common perpetrator between the three killings. Each victim’s body had been found strangled, beaten, and stabbed in their bedroom. Each had also visited a gay bar the night before their murder. The cases remain unsolved.
