David C. McDonald

David C. McDonald was a Canadian lawyer and judge. The McDonald Commission (Royal Commission of Inquiry into Certain Activities of the RCMP) and the University of Alberta’s McDonald Constitutional Lecture Series were named after him. The McDonald Commission, of which Mcdonald was chairman, did not engage with the RCMP’s persecution of homosexuals in the civil service during the 1960s and 1980s.
