Donal Brothers was a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served in WWII. He later earned a law degree and entered British Columbia politics. He was elected as the MLA for the Rossland-Trail constituency in 1958 as a member of the Social Credit Party. He acted as Minister of Mines and Petroleum and then Minister of Education.
