Eric Bentley

Eric Bentley attended Oxford in the late 1930s. Bentley taught at Columbia University for almost 20 years and also taught at Harvard, the State University of New York-Buffalo, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Maryland. He wrote plays with gay themes as well as articles about homosexuality in theatre.
