Ian Young – Prosopography

Ian Young was a writer, poet, and an important figure in Canada’s gay liberation movement. His writing and poetry contained homosexual themes and covered topics including gay liberation and Canadian literary censorship. He coordinated Catalyst Press, a Toronto-based gay literary publisher, which ceased publication in 1980 due to financial difficulties. Young was an early member of the University of Toronto Homophile Association.
