Paul Head

He was constable for the Ontario Provincial Police. He was arrested for gross indecency and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile when he was caught having sexual relations with a 13 year old boy at a gay gathering place. He sued the police force, and his case became a scandal for them, as Head was pressured to resign from the force after his arrest under threats, as well as the promise of a lesser charge. He was reinstated after the details of his resignation came to light, and then charged and suspended six days later. The case dragged on for years. In April 1980, Head was charged with indecent assault in a separate case, which he was acquitted of over 18 months later.
