He owned the Romans II Sauna, a bathhouse, which was raided on 5 February 1981. in May of that year he launched a lawsuit against 69 police officers, the Chief of Police in Toronto Jack Ackroyd (#JACK), and Don Banks (#DBAN) of the intelligence section. Taylor’s suit claimed that the police were responsible for approximately $10,000 worth of damages.
