Bruno Bettelheim

Bruno Bettelheim was an influential psychologist. On February 7, 1974 at a McGill University symposium on sexuality and with an audience of 500 people, he said that “Homosexual relations are always narcissistic they involve an unconscious search for the self, instead of the other,” and that “… homosexuality is based on fear of the other sex.”
