Francis Loring

Frances Loring was one of Canada’s most distinguished sculptors. She is responsible for the 1928 War Memorial at the University of Toronto’s Osgoode Hall and the Queen Elizabeth Way Monument, in addition to the sculpture of Robert Borden on Parliament Hill. She was a life-long partner and collaborator to Florence Wyles, also a sculptor.
