J. Patrick O’Callaghan was a newspaper publisher and editor of the Ottawa Citizen, the Windsor Star, the Edmonton Journal, and the Calgary Herald. He decided not to publish an advertisement for a gay dance in 1973 in the Windor Star because it he found it offensive.
