Allyre Louis Sirois was a Justice of the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench. In 1979 he dismissed an appeal launched by the Nipawin District School Board after a teacher they had dismissed, Donald Jones, was legally reinstated. The teacher was dismissed due to his sexual orientation, and resigned from the position due to the school board’s behaviour.
