He was the principal of Faywood Public School in North York, Ontario. On 22 September 1981 he rescinded an offer of temporary employment to Lonny Stekiewicz (#LOST) upon discovering he was gay. Geggie claimed the decision was due to the conservative values of his pupils’ parents.
