He was a Justice of the Saskatchewan Court of Queen’s Bench. He dismissed the appeal launched by the Nipawin District School Board after a teacher they had dismissed was legally reinstated. The teacher was dismissed due to his sexual orientation, and resigned from the position due to the school board’s behaviour. For this reason, Sirois denied the appeal.
