Al Johnson

Al Johnson was appointed to be the CBC president by Pierre Trudeau in 1975 where he focused on increasing Canadian content. He was caught up in a small scandal in which it was suggested by the CBC radio station CBH that the CBC had a national policy against broadcasting announcements from homophile organizations.
