Albert Gedraitis was fired from his position with Adelaide Building Maintenance after complaining of anti-gay harassment on the job. He claimed that the harassment was a violation of safety regulations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. He appealed the dismissal and eventually brought the issue before the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
