Benjamin Schlesinger was an editorialist and a Professor Emeritus of Social Work at the University of Toronto. He was the editor of the study “Sexual Behavior in Canada” (1977) which claimed that homosexuality was not an illness, but that it was learned and that helping professions hadnt helped homosexuals live with their problem.
