Beverly Glenn-Copeland is a Black trans musician with a career spanning many decades. Born in the United States, he has spent much of his life in Canada. He was the first Black student to attend the Faculty of Music at McGill University in 1961. In addition to his recording career, he also appeared as a regular on the CBC’s Mr. Dressup children’s program for 25 years.
