Christopher Isherwood

Christopher Isherwood was a gay English-American novelist, known for A Single Man, among many other works. Many of his novels have been adapted into plays, musicals and films, and are often gay-themed. On Feb. 8, 1977 he spoke at a fundraising event for John Damien.
