He was a member of the Italian gay group Fuori. On 24 February 1981 he and Giovanni Minerba (#GMIN) chained themselves to a gate inside the Canadian Embassy in Rome to protest the mistreatment of gays in Canada following the 5 February bathhouse raids. Police took the men away, and later released them.
