Marc-André Bédard

Marc-André Bédard was the Quebec Justice minister in the 80s. During his time in the role, he introduced a bill that would reform family laws in Quebec. In 1981 he was called upon by gay and progressive groups to change the section of the Charter of Rights that allowed discrimination based on gender and sexual orientation.
