Mark Golub was the Rabbi of the Temple Beth Sholom in Montréal. In September 1977 he invited Harvey Blackman and Roy Salonin of the gay Jewish group Naches to speak at an Oneg Shabbat event. The invitation was later withdrawn, and Golub blamed it on a “programming error.”
